Hello Insomnia! is our relaxed get-to-know-you evening for anyone who’d like to discover Insomnia at their own pace — no dress code, no play party, no pressure to perform. Just turn up, have a chat, ask questions, get to know people and have a tour of the venue.
Our hosts for the evening, Dominique Insomnia and Ani, will guide you through the evening, explaining things, putting them into context and answering all the questions you might not dare to ask straight away on your first visit: How does the club work? How do I navigate the evening respectfully? What’s actually the difference between sex-positive, swinger, fetish and “I just wanted to have a look”? How do I approach the people around me?
At around 8.30 pm, there’ll be a short talk on various topics — for example, dress code, club etiquette, consent, scene terminology and what’s helpful to ensure you’re perfectly prepared for your first night at the club.
Queer-friendly, open, curious and relaxed. For all genders, sexual orientations, levels of experience and charmingly nervous first-timers. Come along, say hello, ask questions.
The first step doesn’t have to be a leap into the deep end — sometimes a good drink and an honest “OK, how does this work here?” is enough.
